How to use Diamond Gel №11 Builder Gel from Luna Moon
- Preparation: remove previous coating, file 220 grit/buff 100 grit without pressure, manicure. When using removers — wash hands. Degrease with Nail Prep LUNAmoon twice.
- Adhesion: primer if needed (or skip if base acidity is sufficient). Rub in Rubber Base in a thin layer, cure 60 s, remove tacky layer.
- Strengthening: level with Diamond Gel №11 (0.5–1 mm from cuticle), cure 60 s. File the shape to strengthen edge, remove tacky layer, apply colour/top.
- Classic extension: shorten to 1 mm, set form, lay a base with clear gel (30 s), file free edge, remove dust, apply Rubber Base again (30 s). Level with Diamond Gel №11, pinch the arch at 10–15 seconds (or at 20 if gel is “sticky”/with glitter), finish curing 120 s.
- Finish: remove tacky layer, apply top coat, cure 120 s; do not wipe after curing to preserve shine.
Tips for working with Diamond Gel №11 from Luna Moon
Maintain proper thickness: ~0.5 mm at the edge and up to 1 mm at the apex zone. For thin natural nails, after leveling file out ~1 mm of natural nail from the inside — this reduces risk of lifting at the free edge.
Curing: LED/UV 36–48 W, wavelength 365–405 nm; full cure — 120 sec. Intermediate layers — 30–60 sec (depending on technique).
